I’m Alan, and I am currently in my third year at the University of Auckland, pursuing a degree in the Biomedical Sciences, hoping to get a seat in medical school. I am passionate about helping students overcome the barriers they face in learning, especially in Mathematics and English, as these subjects contain core skills that are used throughout life. I use a bottom-up approach in tutoring, by building the foundations for the student first, before jumping into more complicated concepts.
