Making sense of data is a life skill
Employers and universities look for statistical literacy: reading a graph, questioning a claim, drawing a sensible conclusion from data. NCEA Statistics asks for exactly that, in writing, which is where many capable students lose marks.
Our lessons teach the method, then the explanation: what to calculate, what it means, and how to write it so a marker gives the Excellence. We follow the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum and the NCEA standards.
